ProStreet a.k.a. Pro Street Trainer

For a game that is only a couple of days old, the hunt for a trainer is "hot". No, I don't mean by money trainer. This can be done using a memory editor program.

Fire up the program, launch Prostreet and write down your current money. Then buy something. Doesn't matter what you buy, expensive or not. Just as long as your money quantity changes. After you have confirm your purchase, alt-tab to the money trainer and look for the "filter" function@button. Put in your money value after the purchase. And search. Now, you should have one function in the address space. Edit it, to any number you want. 100 mil perhaps? After you are done, alt-tab back to the game. Go to any menu, to change the screen menu. This is to update the money value on the game screen. After this, you should have your desired money.

For those who are less adventurous, go to http://www.nfsplanet.de. Go to the download section for Prostreet and download the money trainer. Use it according to the instructions.

Oh, I forget. I don't want to talk about money trainer for God's sake! I want to talk about more advanced trainer for this game. Hm..The best trainer I can find is a +5 trainer. There's a +14 trainer, but there are some drawbacks. I will upload the trainer tomorrow, is there are anyone who want it.

Malaysian Torrent Downloader, Beware...

RM250k fine for illegal downloads...

KUALA LUMPUR: If you download material illegally from the Internet, be prepared to fork out a minimum fine of RM250,000.

This is the warning from the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry to Malaysians who continue to illegally download songs, videos and the like.

Although this penalty was legislated more than 10 years ago under the Copyright Act 1987, it has yet to be fully enforced.

This was because the Government was still focusing on “physical enforcement”, encompassing continuous efforts to weed out pirated DVDs, VCDs and CDs sold on the streets and their operators.

Deputy Minister Datuk S. Veerasingam said that while this remains their main priority, cracking down on Internet download offenders was also gaining momentum.

“For the past three years, we have seen a significant reduction in copyright pirates.

“This is due to the continuous efforts of four enforcement officers. “We will also very soon make Internet download offenders our priority. The law has been there for the past 10 years,” he said Tuesday.

Veerasingam was speaking to reporters after opening the WIPO Asia-Pacific Regional Seminar on the Issues and Recent Developments of the WIPO Copyright Treaty and the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty on behalf of Minister Datuk Shafie Apdal.

More than 75 participants from 11 countries are taking part in the three-day seminar.

Veerasingam added that the maximum fine for downloading material illegally from the Internet was as high as a whopping RM500,000.

The reality of it, Veerasingam said, was that as long as there were buyers, there would always be sellers.

“It doesn't matter whether it's buying a CD from the street or illegally downloading songs from the Internet. It's still the same,” he said.

He thus urged Malaysians to be responsible consumers and realise the damage they caused to the various industries that painstakingly produced music, videos and movies only to find their work being used for free.

On the other hand, he also urged that products be reasonably priced so consumers would not consider cheaper alternatives, such as pirated or illegally downloaded products.

On advancements made by the country in this area, Veerasingam said various amendments to the law and the instalment of an Intellectual Property Court recently was testament to this.

---This might be the beginning of something big. So to Malaysians, be careful of what you are downloading. I suggest you to use peerguardian with your torrent client. I am suggesting this to anyone who used torrent client that do not have built in peer ban list such as utorrent and azureus, e.g Deluge. Anyway, just be careful. Lest you will be like those punished in the U.S.---

I Claim My Own Blog for Technorati!!

Technorati Profile

New Torrent Client - Deluge

I've been using a new torrent client lately. It's goes by the name Deluge. Overall the client I used, only this gave me satisfactory results. Oh, by the way, I am in Sabah, Malaysia, for those who don't have a clue of who I am. Back to the topic. Deluge seems to get "past" Streamyx P2P throttling. Even though the results is not as good as in the Semenanjung guys and gals got (can't have full speed on my 1 Mbps during the day), still, downloading a huge torrent, almost 8GB, in two weeks, proves that this client is very efficient.
The results may vary for individuals. But for me, this is the best by far. None ever get close to Deluge's speed. It may seems to be simplistic at first, because this client has only been developed recently, ported from Linux version to Windows version. Not to mention occasional bugs here and there. But hey. I really need the speed, so I can live with a few bugs.
For those interested, here is the official link for this client.

Need For Speed: ProStreet

The (moderately?) anticipated pc game of the year. I thought it would be very nice addition to the NFS series. Alas, I am wrong. First thing first. This game should be about street racing right? But no. This game is played in tracks, somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Better rename it to Protrack. And the system requirements is also very high. Yes, I know, the minimum requirement is kinda low. But if many peoples in forums are complaining about stuttering graphics, even on high end computer, then what is the minimum requirements?, to play the game smoothly on the lowest setting? Hell. I don't even want to play past the second part. The graphic is so bad, I revert to play C&C3: Tiberium Wars. The storyline is much better there anyway. So to EA, you should patch this game as soon as possible so that lower end system can play it. If not, this series will get a bad name..

Command And Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Kane Edition (HKZonda)

The first game that I got is on a DVD-9 (double-layer dvd!). This game is sure huge in its own right. I already played the normal difficulty level and man, it sure is fun. In it's own right of course. Compared to the previous C&C franchise I played, this one is by far the most appealing one. Not to mention that this game is responsive on a moderately powered PC. Heck, all games should be created this way so all people can play it. Congrats to the creator of this great game!
